Originally nursery stock from Santa Rosa, California, this Japanese Cedar was styled by Yasuo Mitsuya and his apprentice in the early 1990s. It passed through the hands of several owners before being acquired by its current caretaker in 2011, who has continued its development with guidance from Michael Hagedorn. The tree’s antique Chinese pot was sourced by Matt Reel, and its dignified upright style reflects its rich history.
