Collected by Ned Lycett in 2008 during a trip to Tahoe National Forest, this Sierra Juniper has passed through the hands of several bonsai masters, including Ryan Neil and Bjorn Bjorholm. After the death of its last owner, John Roehl, it was donated to the Bonsai Garden at Lake Merritt in 2019, where it has been maintained by Rick Trumm and continues to develop.
