This Monterey Cypress, styled by George Haas, was collected from Pebble Beach by Katsumi Kinoshita, who cultivated it for 35 years before offering it at a workshop in 2010. The tree is displayed with live rock scallops collected by Haas from Carmel Bay. Its slant style design reflects the iconic Lone Cypress overlooking Carmel Bay. Collaborators Peter Tea and Samuel Tan contributed to the tree’s ongoing development​.
