This Kashima Maple, owned by Paul and Dodie Newman, was air layered by Vince Owyoung in 1988 from a small branch of his mother tree. The bonsai was purchased by the Newmans four years ago, and its development has been guided by Peter Tea. The display also features a Kingsville Boxwood that has passed through several hands, symbolizing the sense of community within the bonsai world. Both trees exemplify the collaborative spirit and shared passion of bonsai enthusiasts​.
