Representing the coastal region of Oregon, this Douglas Fir was collected after being flattened by a log skidder in the late 1990s. The tree has been shaped over the years into its current form, which highlights its resilience and survival. Styled through a series of demonstrations with Ryan Neil, it was featured in the Pacific Bonsai Museum’s Natives exhibit in 2017.
