This sankan (three-trunk) style Korean Hornbeam was imported from Korea by Kim’s Bonsai nursery in California. First styled in 1998, the tree made its debut at the Baikoen Bonsai Kenkyukai Winter Silhouettes show and continues to be admired for its elegant form.
