About this display

William Valavanis

Introduced to the U.S. by William Valavanis in 1971, these six Kotohime Japanese Maples, over 40 years old, represent one of the oldest examples of this cultivar in the United States. Planted in a clump formation, their roots have grown together over time, creating a unique forest bonsai display.
